Dad is one of the people I love most. He has been a wonderful example and a great father. I am grateful he taught me how to work hard and love God.
Sometimes our best-laid plans don’t work out. We have to re-vamp and try again. That’s how I ended up living the dream in farm country. This is my story.

30 Weeks
I have a problem. It's called blogphobia. Whenever I feel the need to sit down and update the blog, I suddenly have this great fear of writing. Okay, so I don't really have blogphobia. I have a terrible case of procrastination! Originally I had planned to spend the 30 days leading up to my 30th Birthday thanking 30 influential people in my life. Instead I procrastinated and decided to start the 30 days on my birthday...on January 14th...
So, 6 months later I am finally back to my 30 days weeks of gratitude. Perhaps a more attainable goal: one per week. (Except the fact that there are only 28 weeks until my 31st birthday, so I'll have to double a couple to finish on time.)
I might also intersperse a few other exciting posts relating to my crazy life...that is if I don't feel the need to color code my pencils...

Day 1: Mom
30 years ago today my mother gave me a gift. Life. I could talk about mom for pages, but I'll just say she is amazing! Over the years she has shared many things with me. One of the best things she has shared with me is her belief in God.
30 Days of Fabulous People
I turned 30 years old today. I've decided to spend the first 30 days of my 30th year celebrating the 30 most influential people in my life. I'm writing them a Thank You card and posting a small blurb here on the blog. I'm so blessed to have such wonderful folks in my life!
*I will do my best to match my 30 people with songs, but I may not find one every day.
